U.S. stock index futures slipped on Friday, ahead of a closely watched inflation
report that will likely provide markets with some direction about the scale and
pace of interest-rate reductions by the Federal Reserve this year.  .N 
    
    At 7:35 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.10% at 38,192. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.18% at 5,243.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.33% at 18,545.5.
