Ascent Resources Plc (LON: AST), the onshore Caribbean, Hispanic American and
European focused natural resources company, today announces that Ewen
Ainsworth will step down from his position as Non Executive Director of the
Company effective 28 February 2022 following his acceptance of a full time
executive position elsewhere.

James Parsons, Chairman, commented:

"We wish Ewen every success in his new employment and thank him for his
contribution to Ascent's restructuring and strategic development.   We look
forward to continuing this journey as we approach a critical inflection point
