Ascent Resources plc, the European focused oil & gas exploration and production company announces, in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the following information as at 30 April 2019.
 
Following the issue of 214,285,714 new Ordinary Shares during the month ended 30 April 2019, the total number of shares in issue and total voting rights as at the date of this announcement is 2,626,648,452 Ordinary Shares of 0.2p each.
 
The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.  Consequently the figure of 2,626,648,452 may be used by the Company's shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
