ZURICH/BERLIN, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:
    
    ZURICH INSURANCE  ZURN.S  
    First-half operating profit fell 40% to $1.7 billion as
payouts linked to the COVID-19 pandemic and weaker financial

    CREDIT SUISSE  CSGN.S 
    Credit Suisse said it had hired former Petrobras  PETR4.SA 
CEO Ivan Monteiro as the investment bank's vice chairman in

    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    * Berner Kantonalbank  BEKN.S  reported an H1 profit of 60.1
million Swiss francs and said the FY outlook remains positive

    * Ascom  ASCN.S  reported an H1 EBITDA of 8.4 million Swiss
francs on revenues of 133.4 million francs and reaffirmed its
