("Aseana" or the "Company")

 

Update on the discharge of the Receivers & Managers (the "R&Ms")

 

Further to the Company's announcement on 4 July 2025, Aseana (LSE: ASPL), a
property developer in Malaysia listed on the main market of the London Stock
Exchange, confirms that following the full settlement of the defaulted Silver
Sparrow Bhd Medium Term Notes ("SSB MTNs"), it is now expected that the
R&Ms will be discharged in mid-August 2025.

 

The termination of the R&Ms is currently in progress. Maybank Investment
Bank Berhad, in its capacity as the security agent under the SSB MTNs,
required that the land charge associated with the SSB MTNs be discharged prior
to the termination of the R&Ms. This condition was fulfilled with the
discharge completing on 30 July 2025. With this pre-requisite now satisfied,
the Company is now expecting that the R&Ms will be discharged in
mid-August 2025.

 

The Company will provide further updates to shareholders on the discharge of
the R&Ms at the appropriate time.
