acceptable private letter ruling from internal revenue service 
    * Ashford Inc- has formed a special committee of its board 
to evaluate a possible transaction 
    * Ashford-Been unsuccessful in receiving acceptable private 
letter ruling from IRS regarding proposed deal with Remington 
Holdings, LP
