The Nasdaq rose on Thursday as electric automaker Tesla topped Wall Street's
profit target, while the benchmark S&P 500 edged lower due to losses in telecom
stocks after AT&T cut its cash flow forecast. .N
At 1:46 pm ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.12% at
31,835.52. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.43% at 3,976.75 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.80% at 11,992.979.
