NZ's Asset Plus hits nearly 1-yr high on swinging to HY profit

** Shares of Asset Plus  APL.NZ  rise as much as 6.3% to
NZ$0.255, their highest level since late-Dec 2023
    ** The commercial property investor posts HY total profit
after tax of NZ$2.324 mln ($1.36 mln), up from NZ$4.72 mln loss
in the prior corresponding period (pcp)
    ** However, co's adjusted funds from operations was a loss
of NZ$0.35 million against a NZ$0.23 million loss in pcp
    ** About 213,000 shares change hands by 2208 GMT, 2.3 times
the 30-day average volume of shares
    ** Stock has fallen 4% YTD, as of last close
