Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') makes the following notification of a transaction by a director and a connected person, notified to the Company in accordance with DTR3.1.2R. Ruth Cairnie, a non-executive director of the Company, today advised that she and her spouse, Anthony Heggs, had acquired a total of 1,500 ordinary shares of 5 15/22 pence each in the Company. Ms Cairnie acquired 584 of the shares at a price of 27.16 per share, and Mr Heggs acquired 555 shares at 27.29 pence per share and 361 shares at 27.30 per share. The transactions took place on the London Market today, 22 April 2015.
