Final dividend for the year ended 18 September 2021 and special dividend

Further to the announcement released earlier today by Associated British Foods
plc (the 'Company') of its final results for the year ended 18 September 2021,
the Company confirms that:

 (i)   a final dividend of 20.5 pence per share will be paid; and
 (ii)  in addition to the final dividend, a special dividend of 13.8 pence per share
       will be paid as a second interim dividend.

The payment date for both the 2021 final dividend and special dividend will be
14 January 2022 and will be paid to shareholders on the register of members as
at the close of business on 17 December 2021. The ex-dividend date for each of
these dividends is 16 December 2021.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP'). The final date for
receipt or withdrawal of elections under the DRIP for both dividends will be
24 December 2021.

Payment of the final dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at
the Company's annual general meeting to be held on 10 December 2021. Payment
of the special dividend does not require shareholder approval.
