Transaction in own shares and completion of share buyback programme

 

Associated British Foods plc (the "Company") announces that on 27 October 2023
it purchased for cancellation from Credit Suisse International ("CS") the
following number of its ordinary shares of 5 15/22 pence each pursuant to the
authority granted by its shareholders as part of its share repurchase
programme, details of which were announced on 9 November 2022 and 28 April
2023.

 Number of shares repurchased:      806
 Average price paid per share:      GBp 1,941.9653
 Highest price paid per share:      GBp 1,952.0000
 Lowest price paid per share:       GBp 1,939.5000

 

The Company intends to cancel these Shares.

 

All shares were purchased from CS as an on exchange transaction subject to the
rules of the London Stock Exchange.

 

These purchases are the last purchases to be made under the second and final
£250 million tranche of the £500 million share buyback programme announced
on 9 November 2022 and that programme has been completed in accordance with
its terms. In total, the Company purchased 26,478,215 shares for a total
consideration of £499,999,929.
