UK Stocks-Factors to watch on January 22 (updated)

Adds new items, updates futures

Jan 22 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.65%.

* B&M: B&M BMEB.L cut its adjusted core profit
forecast
 for the year as the discount retailer invests in clearing out products and reducing inventory under its turnaround strategy.

* ABF: ABF ABF.L confirmed that underlying
sales
 at its Primark clothing business fell 2.7% in the Christmas quarter.

* HARBOUR ENERGY: Harbour Energy HBR.L posted 2025
production
 at the top-end of its forecast.

* AJ BELL: AJ Bell AJBA.L reported a 27.7% rise in first quarter gross
inflows
 for its platform business but said that uncertainty in the run up to UK budget in November prompted more customers to pull money from their pensions.

* SENIOR: Senior SNR.L
forecast
 annual profit ahead of its previous expectations citing a stronger-than-expected performance in its aerospace business.

* WICKES: Wickes WIX.L
posted
 a 5.3% rise in like-for-like sales growth for the second half of the year.

* SHELL: Shell SHEL.L has failed to make a commercial discovery in its Falcao-1 exploration well on Block 10 offshore Sao Tome and Principe, the company said.

* BAE SYSTEMS: Britain handed BAE Systems BAES.L and Leonardo LDOF.MI a 453 million pound contract to upgrade radar systems on Typhoon fighter jets.

* ANTOFAGASTA: The U.S. House of Representatives voted to overturn former President Joe Biden's mining ban in northern Minnesota, giving a boost to Antofagasta's ANTO.L Twin Metals copper, cobalt and nickel project.

* GOVERNMENT BORROWING: Britain's government borrowed 11.578 billion pounds in December, official data showed.

* COMMODITIES:
Oil
 prices edged up,
copper
 prices were range-bound, and

 fell.
