** Shares of agrochemical ingredients and pharmaceutical
intermediates maker Astec LifeSciences  ASTE.NS  rise as much as
12.5% to hit a record high of 2,264.45 Indian rupees ($27.49)
    ** ASTE shares jump most since May 16 in a broader weak
market; up for third straight session
    ** Nearly 410,000 shares traded by 0717 GMT vs 30-day avg of
23,313 shares
    ** Stock up 40.5% pct YTD, up to last close compared with a
2.74% fall in the S&P BSE SmallCap Index  .SPBSSIP 
($1 = 82.3875 Indian rupees)
