** Shares of Aston Minerals Ltd  ASO.AX  jump as much as
11.6% to A$0.1, their best day since Jan 24
    ** Nickel-cobalt miner says 1.044 bln tonne maiden
nickel-cobalt mineral resource estimate defined across its
Boomerang mine in Western Australia
    ** Says total of 2.82 mln tonnes contained nickel and 115
kilo tonnes contained cobalt within global resource
    ** Stock hits highest since Jan 30
    ** More than 8.2 mln shares change hands, almost 10 times
the 30-day average volume 
    ** Stock up 10% this year as of last close
