** Shares of Aston Minerals Ltd  ASO.AX  jump as much as 25%
to A$0.175 - their best day since May 21

 presence of nickel-cobalt  sulphide at Edleston Project in
Ontario, Canada
    ** Stock hits highest since June 17 before paring gains to
trade at A$0.155    
    ** ASO says the project is a potential green source of
nickel - used for manufacturing lithium-ion batteries for
electric vehicles 
    ** About 7.6 mln shares change hands, around 5x 30-day avg 
    ** Stock had been on trading halt since Sept 8
    ** ASO more than tripled so far this year, as of last close
on Sept 7
