On 27 August 2025, AstraZeneca PLC (the Company) was notified by The Capital
Group Companies, Inc. (Capital Group) that the TR-1 notification it submitted
to the Company on 25 August 2025, and which was subsequently announced by the
Company on 26 August 2025 under RNS No. 6772W, was provided in error.

Accordingly, shareholders should disregard the TR-1 notification announced by
the Company on 26 August 2025 and instead refer to the TR-1 notification in
relation to Capital Group announced by the Company on 21 August 2025, which is
