VIENNA, Nov 14 (Reuters) - AT&S ATSV.VI is exploring
the possibilities for raising money to invest in new
technologies through a capital increase but by no means is it
making an emergency sale, the Austrian semiconductor firm's
chief executive officer told Reuters.
"We are not under massive pressure to make a move, but we
want to finalise this as soon as possible," CEO Andreas
Gerstenmayer said on Tuesday.
The circuit boards maker is in talks with state-owned
holding Oesterreichische Beteiligungs AG (OBAG), which would
potentially acquire 25% plus one share in AT&S as part of the
capital increase, as well as holding discussions with other
potential investors to participate in the capital increase.
