** Shares of drug developer Atea Pharmaceuticals  AVIR.O 
fall 13.1% to $3.19 premarket
    ** Co says its experimental antibody drug bemnifosbuvir for
treating Covid-19 failed to show statistically significant
reduction in the number of patients who required hospitalization
or died, versus a placebo
    ** The study tested the drug in 2,221 high-risk patients
with mild to moderate Covid-19
    ** Stock up 20.3% YTD, as of last close
