** Atea Pharmaceuticals Inc's shares  AVIR.O  up 1.3% at
$4.60
    ** Company enrolls first patient in late-stage trial
evaluating bemnifosbuvir in treating COVID-19
    ** Atea to enroll at least 1,500 immunocompromised and
non-hospitalized patients at high risk for disease progression,
all regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status
    ** Trial's primary goal to test all-cause of hospitalization
or death on day 29 in at least 1,300 patients evaluating
bemnifosbuvir as a monotherapy, according to company
    ** AVIR says data confirms that bemnifosbuvir is active with
similar efficacy against all variants of concern or interest
that have been tested, including Omicron subvariants BA.4 and
BA.5
    ** Including session moves, stock down 48.2% YTD
