Athens International Airport surges in market debut

** Shares in Athens International Airport (AIA)  AIAr.AT 
open 14.6% higher at 9.40 euros in their market debut compared
to the 8.20 euros IPO price
    ** AIA's IPO was priced at 8.20 euros per share at the upper
end of the range of 7.00 to 8.20 euros, valuing the whole
company at 2.46 billion euros
    ** As of 0850 GMT the stock pares some gains and is up 12%
at 9.2 euros
    ** The ATHEX composite share price index  .ATG  is
marginally up 0.2%
