U.S. stock indexes extended last week's gains on Monday as investors saw a
greater chance of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates this year following
softer-than-expected payrolls data on Friday.  .N 
    
    At 13:46 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.32% at
38,798.28. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.71% at 5,164.08 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.79% at 16,284.326.
