Atrum announces that it does not intend to make an offer for the share capital of Atlantic Carbon Group plc ("ACG")
The Board of ACG announced on 19 September 2016 that it had received a preliminary approach from Atrum, which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued (and to be issued) share capital of ACG.
The Board of Atrum believes that it will not be possible for Atrum to make an offer to acquire the entire issued (and to be issued) share capital of ACG within the time restraints prescribed by the Code. Consequentially, Atrum will not be making an offer for the shares and warrants of ACG under the Code.
This announcement is made in accordance with Rule 2.8 of the Code. As a result of this announcement Atrum, together with any party acting in concert with Atrum, will be bound by the restrictions contained in Rule 2.8 of the Code.
