Finnish health care company Terveystalo late on Friday
confirmed an earlier media report by saying that it was
evaluating a possible acquisition of Attendo's Finnish

"Terveystalo confirms that it is evaluating the transaction
as a strategic alternative. However, there is no certainty that
any transaction will be forthcoming," it said in a statement.
Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri earlier on Friday cited
unnamed sources who said Attendo was nearing the sale of the
unit with an estimated price tag of up to 2.5 billion Swedish
