Australian tech stocks snap four-day winning streak to track Wall Street peers lower

** Australian tech stocks  .AXIJ  fall 1.6% to 2866.4, in
tandem with U.S. peers on Friday following weak jobs data and an
escalation in the trade war  .N 
    ** The sub-index  .AXIJ  set for its highest intraday drop
since February 3, after posting gains for four straight sessions
    ** Tech major WiseTech Global  WTC.AX  is the weakest
performer in the sub-index, with shares having fallen 5.5% to
A$122.72 earlier in the day, dropping most since December 19,
2024
    ** Shares of Audinate  AD8.AX  down 2.7%, seeing their
weakest session since February 4
    ** Tech sub-index  .AXIJ  rose 49.5% in 2024
