Wall Street sank on Tuesday as disappointing forecasts from industrial
bellwethers Caterpillar and 3M triggered alarm bells over corporate growth and
added to concerns ranging from China's slowdown to Saudi Arabia's diplomatic
isolation. .N
At 11:04 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.74 percent at
24,878.07. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.81 percent at 2,706.03 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 2.17 percent at 7,306.678.
