** Shares of investment co Augmentum Fintech AUGM.L up 24.7% at 108.75p

** Co and Verdane-backed BidCo agree on recommended cash offer for AUGM

** Deal values AUGM at about 185.7 million pounds ($251.01 million)

** AUGM shareholders to receive 111 pence per share in cash

** Offer price represents 27% premium to Monday's close of 87.4p and 29.6% premium to stock's three-month average of 85.6p

** AUGM directors unanimously intend to recommend offer

** AUGM shares up ~19.45% YTD
