Aumovio warns staff of possible short-time work amid chip shortage, Manager Magazin reports

BERLIN, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Germany's Aumovio AMV0n.DE has warned employees of potential short-time work due to a chip shortage, Manager Magazin reported on Thursday.

The auto parts company told employees at its Villingen-Schwenningen site that its supplier was currently unable to supply Aumovio with the required electronic components, according to the report.

Aumovio did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.
