Aurora Mobile soars after integrating DeepSeek into its AI platform

** U.S.-listed shares of Aurora Mobile Ltd JG.O soar
120.6% to $12.77
** China-based firm says that its enterprise AI agent
platform, GPTBots.ai, has integrated DeepSeek R1 large language
model (LLM)
** Chinese startup DeepSeek last week launched a free
assistant it says uses less data at a fraction of the cost of
incumbent players' models
** DeepSeek by Monday had overtaken U.S. rival ChatGPT in
terms of Apple Store downloads
** JG, which provides messaging services, also offers OpenAI
GPT, Anthropic Claude and Meta Llama among other LLMs to its
users
** Aurora is the third-highest Nasdaq Composite gainer on
Monday, with the stock having jumped ~148% in 2024
