U.S. stock index futures see-sawed in a tight range on Thursday following a
strong finish on Wall Street a day earlier ahead of big-ticket earnings reports,
while investors also awaited data that could offer clues on the economy's
health.  .N 
    
    At 7:13 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.03% at 38,762. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.14% at 5,008, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down 0.14%
at 17,817.5.
