Wall Street stocks climbed on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump stepped back from his threat to impose 50% tariffs on the European Union, easing trade tensions and boosting sentiment as markets reopened after the Memorial Day break.  .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.56% at 42,253.94. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.89% at 5,912.88, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 2.36% at 19,178.65.
