Wall Street gained some steam on Wednesday after a selloff in the prior session
on a hot inflation report, while Nvidia topped Alphabet's market value to become
the third-most valuable U.S. company.  .N 
    
    At 10:44 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.21% at
38,352.84. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.56% at 4,981.12 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.73% at 15,770.342.
