AviChina Industry & Technology Co Ltd  2357.HK  rise as much as
3.1 pct after four straight sessions of decline
    ** Company buys 1.28 mln A shares of AVIC Jonhon Optronic
Technology Co Ltd  002179.SZ  at an average price of 34.95 yuan
each, raising its stake in the Shenzhen-listed connector

    ** Company says it will use 50-100 mln yuan to further
increase its shareholding in Jonhon Optronic in the next 6
months at up to 40 yuan per share

close
    ** AviChina has underperformed the Hang Seng Commerce &
Industry Index sector  .HSNC  by 15.7 percentage points in the
