TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS
 
In accordance with the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we hereby notify the market of the following:
 
At 6pm on 30 May 2018, Aviva plc had 4,005,745,822 issued ordinary shares of 25p each admitted to trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in relation to all circumstances at general meetings of Aviva plc.
 
In addition, as at 6pm on 30 May 2018, Aviva plc had 2,574,856 ordinary shares of 25p each, which are subject to cancellation. Aviva plc has no shares in treasury.
 
Therefore, as at the date of this announcement, the total number of voting rights in Aviva plc is 4,003,170,966.
 
This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aviva plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
