SUB:   CHANGE IN MANAGING DIRECTOR & CEO OF THE BANK
REF:   REGULATION 30 OF SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015.   
 
We wish to inform you that Smt. Shikha Sharma, Managing Director & CEO of Axis Bank Limited (the "Bank") has retired from the services of the Bank and has accordingly ceased to be the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, with effect from close of business hours on 31st December 2018.
 
Further, please note that as informed vide our letter no. AXIS/CO/CS/723/2018-19 dated 8th December 2018, Shri Amitabh Chaudhry will be the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank with effect from 1st January 2019 on the terms and conditions relating to the said appointment, including remuneration, as approved by the RBI, subject to the approval of the Shareholders of the Bank. The approval of the Shareholders of the Bank is being sought by way of Postal Ballot vide Postal Ballot Notice dated 8th December 2018.
 
You are requested to take note of above and arrange to bring it to the notice of all concerned.
