SUB: CESSATION OF SHRI K. N. PRITHVIRAJ, NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF AXIS BANK LIMITED
REF: REGULATION 30 OF SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS"). 
This is to inform you that Shri K. N. Prithviraj, Nominee of SUUTI has ceased to hold office as the Non-Executive Director of the Bank, with effect from the close of business hours on 8th January, 2016, upon completion of the maximum permissible tenure of 8 continuous years, under Section 10 - A (2-A) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. 
On behalf of the Employees & Directors of the Bank, we place on record the invaluable contributions rendered by Shri K. N. Prithviraj and our deep appreciation for the insightful perspectives and suggestions provided by him during the deliberations at the meetings of the Board and the Committees thereof, during his tenure as a Non-Executive Director of the Bank.
