    ** U.S. FDA clears co's application to start human trials
for its drug candidate, AR101, for treating vascular
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS)  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nACSnH0sTa
 
    ** VEDS is a more severe form of the Ehlers-Danlos
syndrome a group of inherited disorders that affects connective
tissues including in the skin, joints and blood vessel walls;
VEDS can cause the walls of blood vessels, intestines or uterus
to rupture
    ** Co to begin clinical trial for AR101 in the first half of
2022
    ** Up to Friday's close, stock had fallen 71.40% YTD
