B2Gold up on JV stake buyout offer from Rupert Resources

** Shares of gold miner B2Gold Corp  BTO.TO  climb 1.5% to
C$3.62
    ** B2Gold receives offer from gold miner Rupert Resources
 RUP.TO  to buy company's 70% interest in a joint venture
between BTO and Aurion Resources Ltd  AU.V  
    ** The JV owns properties located in the Central Lapland
Greenstone Belt in northern Finland
    ** In exchange of B2Gold's 70% interest, Rupert will issue
to BTO 28,644,111 common shares, implying a total value of
C$102.8 mln ($76.22 mln)
    ** BTO down 13.7% so far this year
