** Shares of energy tech company Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises BW.N rise 4.4% to $6.9 premarket, after its subsidiary Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co (BWCC)secures $17 million refurbishment contract

** BW says contract involves replacing steam and reheat piping at U.S. power plant, with completion slated for spring 2026

** "The increasing power demands for AI data centers, manufacturing and industrial growth make it critical that utilities and energy producers ensure their fleets are operating reliably and efficiently," BWCC's Vice President Mike Hidas says

** Up to last close, BW stock up 301.2% YTD
