Wall Street's main indexes fell on Thursday as disappointing results from Tesla,
AT&T and some regional banks dented investor sentiment already soured by
prospects of further U.S. interest rate hikes.  .N 
    
    At 11:40 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.35% at
33,779.37. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.54% at 4,132.25 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.50% at 12,096.737.
