MBDA acquires Centum T&S assets in France
MBDA acquires Centum T&S assets in France PARIS, June 8 (Reuters) - European missile maker MBDA said on Monday it had acquired most of the activities of French electronic engineering firm Centum T&S, creating a wholly owned French subsidiary and taking on more than 200 employees.
Centum T&S had been in court-supervised restructuring since March 3, according to company registry filings.
MBDA will take over Centum T&S's activities at its Ecully, Moirans and Palaiseau sites.
The company said the new, wholly owned subsidiary will ensure continuity of client contracts and help accelerate production in France.
CEO Eric Béranger said the acquisition would support MBDA's project ramp-up and create a new employment base in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
