** Chinese search-engine provider Baidu's BIDU.O U.S.-listed shares rise 3.0% to $139.40 premarket

** BIDU reports Q1 rev of 32.1 billion yuan ($4.72 billion), compared with analysts' avg est of 31.35 billion yuan, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Rev from Baidu's core AI-powered business up 49% at 13.6 billion yuan

** Up to last close, stock up ~4% this year
