Wall Street's main indexes fell at the open on Tuesday, kicking off 2024 on a
dull note, as Apple shares dipped following a broker downgrade and Treasury
yields climbed as investors tempered their expectations around interest rate
cuts this year.  .N 
    
    At 9:39 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.60% at 37,784. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.82% at 4,780.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
1.32% at 16,799.
