Romania's Banca Transilvania H1 net profit down 28% y/y

BUCHAREST, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Romanian lender Banca
Transilvania  ROTLV.BX     
    * Says its net profit was 607.4 million lei ($148.69
million)in
the first half of 2020, down 28% percent on the year, with the
overall Group's consolidated net profit was 690 million lei.
    * Says Banca Transilvania Financial Group's assets reached 
98.4
billion lei, loans went up to 40.7 billion lei and deposits
reached 80.0 billion, of which 57.2 billion are retail savings
and 22.8 billion are company savings.
    * Says non-performing exposures, according to EBA, amount to
4.35%
as at June 30, 2020, with the total provision coverage ratio, as
per the applicable EBA standards, is 107%. If the collateral is
also taken into account, the coverage ratio amounts to 126%.
    * The bank's CAR is 19.67% (profit for the year excluded)
and
20.91% (profit for the year included).
