NOTICE: DELAY PUBLICATION AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
 
BBVA GLOBAL MARKETS B.V.  (the "Issuer")
 
The Issuer hereby gives notice that as of 28 April 2020 the Issuer's audited financial statements for 2019 are close to being finalized. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. ("BBVA") is the Issuer's sole shareholder and guarantor under its Structured Medium Term Notes Programme Base Prospectus and its Warrants Base Prospectus, both listed on Euronext Dublin's regulated market. BBVA will publish on or about 30 April its quarterly financial statements with the Spanish Securities National Competent Authority, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores ("CNMV"). The Issuer will use part of BBVA´s disclosure on COVID-19 in its 2019 accounts to be filed with the Central Bank of Ireland ("CIB"), being Ireland the Issuer´s home member state for the Transparency Directive. As this disclosure will only be publicly available on CNMV's website on or about 30 April 2020, the Issuer anticipates that it will publish its audited financial statements for 2019 beyond the deadline of 30 April 2020 set out in the Transparency Directive. Filing is expected to take place on or about 14 May 2020.
