MATERIAL FACT
Banco Santander, S.A. hereby announces that in accordance with the resolution approved by the General Shareholders' Meeting held today, on 2 May 2017 it will pay a fourth dividend out of 2016 profit, for a gross amount of EUR 0.055 per share. The last day to trade shares with a right to collect this dividend will be Wednesday, 26 April. The ex-dividend date will be Thursday, 27 April.
