TO REDEEM ITS
Series 372 USD 4,945,500 Callable Fixed Rate Senior unsecured Instruments formerly issued by "Santander International Debt, S.A. Unipersonal" and guaranteed by Banco Santander, S.A. due 23 March 2021

MADRID, Spain, 5 March 2020- Banco Santander, S.A. (the "Company") announced today that, according to the relevant Offering Memorandum dated 15 June 2015 (as supplemented from time to time, the "Offering Memorandum"), the Company has decided to redeem the Series 372 USD 4,945,500 Callable Fixed Rate Senior unsecured instruments formerly issued by "Santander International Debt, S.A. Unipersonal" and guaranteed by Banco Santander, S.A. (the "Instruments"), in its entirety on the 23 March 2020 (the "Early Redemption Date"). Interest will cease to accrue on the Instruments on the Early Redemption Date.
Principal amount together with accrued interest (if any) under the Instruments will be paid to the holders of the Instruments by the Principal Paying Agent, in accordance with their terms on the Early Redemption Date. 
The ISIN number for the Notes is XS1382789136.
In connection with the redemption, The Bank of New York Mellon, will serve as the Issue and Paying Agent.
