Bank Millennium quarterly results due on May 12
Net profit seen at 172 mln zlotys
May 9 (Reuters) - Poland's Bank Millennium MILP.WA is expected to report a 34% year-on-year increase in first-quarter net profit, when it publishes results on May 12. The increase is driven by a reduction in deposit costs and lower costs related to legal settlements for Swiss franc mortgages, a Reuters poll showed on Friday.
Bank Millennium is expected to report first-quarter net profit of 172 million zlotys ($45.62 million), based on a survey of four banks and brokerages.
Bank Millennium in April estimated that the value of provisions for legal risk related to foreign currency loans created in the first quarter would amount to 411 million zlotys, compared with 548.8 million zlotys a year earlier.
