Publication of Supplementary Prospectus by Westpac Banking Corporation

The following Supplementary Prospectus has been approved by the Financial
Conduct Authority (the "FCA") and is available for viewing:

Supplementary Prospectus dated 9 May 2023 (the "Supplementary Prospectus") to
the Base Prospectus dated 11 November 2022 (the "Base Prospectus"), relating
to the U.S.$40 billion Global Covered Bond Programme established by Westpac
Banking Corporation ("WBC") unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed as to
payments of interest and principal by BNY Trust Company of Australia Limited
as trustee of the Westpac Covered Bond Trust.
