led by losses in uranium miner Paladin Energy PDN.AX
** Namibia is considering taking minority stakes in mining
and petroleum producers, the country's mining minister told
lawmakers, Bloomberg News reported
** Shares in PDN, which owns majority stake in the Langer
Heinrich mine, fell as much as 22.6% to A$0.515 - their lowest
level since Aug. 31, 2021
** Bannerman Energy BMN.AX , developing the Etango Uranium
project, fell 7.4% to a one-month low
** Deep Yellow DYL.AX declined as much as 13.4% in its
biggest intraday pct fall since May 9; DYL completed a
definitive feasibility study on Tumas uranium project in early
2023
** Askari Metals AS2.AX , owner of the Uis lithium project,
fell 1.9%
** Australia's mining sub-index .AXMM was up 0.3% on
Tuesday
