** Australian uranium miners gain sharply after Russian
President Vladimir Putin said Moscow should consider limiting
exports of the radioactive metal among others 
    ** A potential shortage in supply drives local uranium
miners such as Paladin Energy  PDN.AX , Boss Energy  BOE.AX  and
Bannerman Energy  BMN.AX  up between 8.5% and 11.4% as of 0405
GMT 
    ** PDN, BOE among the top gainers on the ASX 200 benchmark
 .AXJO   
    ** YTD, PDN lost 1.3%, BOE shed 28.9% and BMN down 12.5%
